From Struggle to Success: Thank you to Gabor’s Guidance

I am thrilled to share that I PASSED the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam from the Project Management Institute!

I owe a heartfelt thank you to Gabor Stramb for his unwavering support and inspiration, which kept me motivated all the way to exam day.

One of the most valuable lessons Gabor imparted was the importance of not letting past failures influence my present efforts. Early in my Project Management journey, I failed the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) exam not once, but twice. Overcoming that discouragement required resilience, and Gabor’s encouragement was crucial when I began crafting my study plan in January 2024 for the PMP.

The weekly calls and emails from Gabor were essential in keeping me on track. There were times during practice sessions when poor results made me want to quit. However, Gabor’s steadfast support reminded me to persevere and continue pushing forward.

I often wondered when I would finally experience a breakthrough. It eventually happened midway through my journey when I began to understand the nuances between different possible answers through extensive practice. I completed approximately 3,700 practice questions total, which ultimately prepared me for success.

On exam day, all that hard work culminated in a triumphant moment at the test center. Tears of joy flowed as I realized I had achieved my goal.
